Go Red for Women Day? You got it!

The duo picture is courtesy of our friendly neighbor James Geraughty. Thanks, James!

This morning Janet noticed online that it was National Wear Red Day, organized to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease and save lives. From GoRedForWomen.org:

On the first Friday of every February, which is designated as American Heart Month, the nation comes together, igniting a wave of red from coast to coast. From landmarks to news anchors and neighborhoods to online communities; this annual groundswell unites millions of people for a common goal: the eradication of heart disease and stroke.

So we found some red to wear! It also happens that we are going to a party tonight. Will we look too cute, or what?

This was excellent timing for the first “real” day of this website (since I just finished building it and hooking up all the links yesterday). Way to spot the news, dear.
